Travel by Car : From Adelaide you can travel less than
an hour along Main South Road (A13) to McLaren Vale
and seaside towns such as Port Noarlunga, Port
Willunga, Maslin Beach, Aldinga and Sellicks
Beach, to name just a few. Or by travelling along
the Princes Highway (A1) you can enter the
region via Strathalbyn or Wellington.
Travel by Coach/Bus/Train : A number of buses and
coaches operate regular services to towns in the Fleurieu
Peninsula.

McLaren Vale, Victor Harbor, Port Elliot and
Goolwa.
Transit Plus (08 8339 7544) to Strathalbyn.
Metropolitan Bus Services (Adelaide Metro
Infoline 08 8210 1000) operate a public service
from Adelaide into the Fleurieu Peninsula. SteamRanger Heritage
Railways (1300 655
991) travel to the Fleurieu Peninsula from
Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills. Travel is also
available on board the historic Cockle Train from
Goolwa, Port Elliot and Victor Harbor.
Metropolitan Train Services operate a public
service from Adelaide to Noarlunga.

Travel by Plane :
The Fleurieu Peninsula has airstrips in Aldinga
and Goolwa, for use by private and charter
aircraft. Adelaide (less than an hour’s drive from
the Fleurieu Peninsula) is serviced by regional,
domestic and international flights.
