Fleurieu Peninsula tourism operators were recognised for their excellence in tourism at the South Australian Tourism Awards on Friday 4th November, 2016.

The formal black tie event, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, was attended by over 700 South Australian tourism operators and industry members to celebrate the tourism industry. The Awards ceremony is a prestigious industry event, that celebrates 30 category winners by awarding businesses and individuals judged to be the best in their category. 


The night was full of cheers as 8 of our nominees from the Fleurieu were acknowledged with a win or medal for their category. 

Mulberry Lodge Luxury Country Retreat was named South Australia’s best Hosted Accommodation at the 2016 South Australian Tourism Awards. They will now represent South Australia in their category at the national awards to be held in Darwin February 2017.

In addition, seven local businesses from the Fleurieu Peninsula were awarded five silver medals and two bronze medals, representing the excellence in tourism within the region.
