A popular venue that is no stranger to the wedding scene is Woodburn Homestead. This country-style property has plenty of raw beauty and space to add your own creative flair. But the hero has to be the open-air chapel which has been authentically restored with stonework and a limestone crush floor.
This indoor/outdoor venue located in Langhorne Creek is perfect for the couple who want to let their imagination run wild. Mt Beare Station located in Mt Compass is the new kid on the block and one of the Fleurieu’s up and coming wedding venues. This rustic gem is set on 500 acres and the secluded valley has rolling hills as far as the eye can see. It is the ultimate blank canvas. Boasting a huge indoor/outdoor space that can seat up to 180 people, or up to 250 standing for a cocktail reception. You can even use their custom-built tables to align with the rustic theme. Oh, and did we mention the option of adding a late curfew?
The lakeside is the perfect ceremony location with lush lawn and a willow tree framing the water’s edge. It is the perfect place to say I do.

Lake Breeze wines
This venue is known by many as one of the most beautiful cellar doors on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The rustic yet luxurious grounds will certainly have your guests talking. Enjoy your ceremony under the gums on the manicured lawns overlooking the vineyard.
Lake Breeze Wines is a unique wedding venue, housing seven very different function spaces. The Barrel Room has a wine barrel feature wall and overlooks vast vineyards. The name says it all. This boho lovers dream gives you the freedom to let out your inner wild child. Think fairy lights, hanging lanterns, fresh flowers and statement wooden furniture. Bring your unique style to life in these gorgeous tipis. You can hire them separately or use their venue set on a paddock, overlooking McLaren Vale. Offering views of rolling hills and vineyards as far as the eye can see. This is a dry hire venue allowing you the freedom to choose your own suppliers and beverages.
