Inman Valley

86 kilometres from Adelaide

This is a vital part of the wonderful journey that leads to Yankalilla. Midway between Victor Harbor and Yankalilla, the Inman Valley Road is lined with huge gum trees and provides a contrast between the ocean environment of the east and the bushland scenery of the south-western Peninsula. Bushwalkers love this part of the Peninsula, while amateur geologists (along with the professionals) head for Glacier Rock, one of the world's largest glacial relics dating back 500 million years when the region was covered with ice.
