Christies Beach

It’s hard to believe that Christies Beach is only 35 minutes south of Adelaide. Popular with photographers, this long stretch of sand is bordered by the dramatic golden cliffs of Witton Bluff – sheltering swimmers from the elements.

There is no end to the list of activities visitors can indulge in at Christies Beach, but some favourites include swimming, fishing, surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving.

A visitor-friendly spot, Christies Beach has decking and a boardwalk to make beach access easier. Right above the beach, you’ll find amenities, a beach facing caravan park, great playground and picnic spot, and an abundance of food, drink and shopping opportunities along adjoining Beach Road.

Our advice is to take in the sunset from the deck of the Christies Sailing Club - a great place to enjoy a meal, pint, and regular live music events.
