Situated in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, just a short drive south of Adelaide, Magpie Springs Winery offers an authentic vineyard/ cellar door experience. Located near McLaren Vale and Willunga, this working vineyard is the southernmost in the Adelaide Hills Wine Region, known for its unique, rustic Cellar Door and adjoining Art Gallery.
The vineyard produces seven varietals of organically grown grapes: Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. These boutique wines, crafted with care and passion, are available exclusively for purchase at the Cellar Door.
To fully enjoy your visit, book in advance by phone to arrange a wine tasting, followed by a glass of your favorite wine paired with a platter in our charming garden. While walk-ins are welcome for wine purchases, platters require prior booking to ensure a delightful experience. The serene surroundings of Magpie Springs make it an ideal spot to relax with friends, savor a bottle of wine, or enjoy the beauty of the vineyard.
In addition to wines, Magpie Springs offers premium coffee beans for purchase, allowing you to bring a taste of the vineyard home with you. The property is also available as a Dry Hire venue, providing a picturesque setting for weddings and private functions.
