In the late 19th century, Milang was the largest inland port in South Australia, providing a busy trade and produce hub for road transport from Melbourne. Now it’s home to charming old buildings, including two restored railway carriages on the tracks housing the fascinating heritage museum, and a historic settlement of quirky shacks along the foreshore.
