If you’re looking for clear blue waters, calm swimming conditions, and a some of the best summer sunsets, you can’t go past Port Willunga.
On a warm summer’s day, you’ll find plenty of families soaking up the sun, paddleboarding, or walking their furry friends along the sand.
Beneath the iconic cliffs are half-a-dozen hand-carved sea caves facing out to the ruins of a 150-year-old jetty. While just a shadow of its former self, these infamous ‘sticks’ jutting from the shoreline are about as picture-perfect as ever, especially as the sun goes down.
Port Willunga is also home to one of the prettiest fine dining restaurants along the coast. Visit Star of Greece for some stellar local food, wines, and unmatched views of the white sandy beach.
