You haven’t really visited historic Old Noarlunga unless you’ve spent time at the famous Old Noarlunga Hotel. The Old Noarlunga Hotel is a genuine Australian country pub with re-energised food and wine menus. Old Noarlunga is easy to get to and full of charm, retaining its “village atmosphere”.

The Old Noarlunga Hotel is nestled within a bend in the Onkaparinga River, which is where the name comes from. It means “fishing place” in the Kaurna Aboriginal language.

The pub was built in 1850 and was formerly called the Jolly Miller. Today it’s very popular with locals, bushwalkers and a destination for people taking a Sunday drive.
