This March, drop by and enjoy the artwork of local artist 'Kate Shierlaw' at the Victor Harbor Regional Gallery.

Kate Shierlaw is a glass artist specialising in kiln-formed glass. She uses the heat in a kiln to fuse, carve and slump the glass, manipulating its colour, texture, and shape. Some pieces are then cold-worked through polishing, grinding, and sandblasting.

Kate's work received a Highly Commended 2022 Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize & 2022 Victor Harbor Art Show. She was also selected for the 2024 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition.

Kate's work uses the unique properties of glass to celebrate the colour and beauty of my local surrounds.

This Gallery showcases the work of locally skilled artists who use variations of different mediums to paint, draw and create unique sculptures.
There are locally made gifts ranging from woodworks, handmade designed iron works, glass designs to card making.

Located in the old historic bakery building opposite the railway station, visitors can catch the local Steam Train also. The Gallery is run by a cooperative of local artists.
