Pearl, Aldinga Beach
Fleurieu Peninsula
Nestled into the dunes adjacent to the Aldinga Beach boat ramp and made from elegant ‘found’ timbers sourced from all over Adelaide – including Her Majesty’s Theatre - Pearl is located just 50 minutes from the city and a stone’s throw from the celebrated McLaren Vale wine region.
Inspired by Mediterranean cuisine and Southeast Asian flavour profiles, head chef Jules brings his “obsession” for fish and fire to Pearl, building a stunning open plan kitchen and a “beast” of a custom-made charcoal grill, in the service of his dynamic, sustainably-sourced seafood menu.
Fare such as stingray, yellowfin whiting, garfish, line-caught nannygai, Spencer Gulf king prawns and Smoky Bay oysters rotate through his inspired, ever-changing menu – as does high quality local produce – and wine of course.
